Preparation before installation

6004RS Double Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings should be installed in a clean, dry place, especially for small bearings, because any contamination particles will have a great impact on the performance of the bearing.

Before installation, all installation tools, shafts, bearing seats and corresponding parts must be clean, and any burrs and debris must be removed as much as possible. At the same time, the roughness, size and design accuracy of the shaft and bearing seat should be checked to ensure that they are within the allowable tolerance range.

Before the installation preparation work is completed, do not unpack the bearing to avoid contamination. Under normal circumstances/bearings with grease lubricant do not need to remove the rust inhibitor during installation.
